Hello again!

As they say, time sure flies by when you are having fun. This has certainly been true for this semester, which is almost over, and I can’t believe it. It seems like just yesterday that I was driving back from Ohio to start the new semester after a long winter vacation. And now we are getting ready for Easter break!  I don’t really have any special plans for Easter break; I am just going home to spend some time with my family – and, of course, do some homework.

Last night was spring formal for my sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma, and I had a great time. We have a formal dance each semester to celebrate our sisterhood and all of the progress we have all made. This is something we all look forward to all semester. I had an absolute blast with all of my sisters and their dates. It was a night full of dancing, laughing and sharing good memories with everyone, as well as making new memories.

This week most of the students on campus register for next semester’s classes. I register tomorrow morning; I am looking forward to my schedule next semester because the nursing classes get more in-depth and hands on. I will either be taking promoting health and healthy restoration of either adults or older adults as well as either pediatrics or obstetrics. I am really excited for these classes because these are fields of nursing in which I would like to have a job. Sometimes registration can be nerve wracking because you are not sure if you will get into all of the classes you want, but I usually make two or three alternative schedules just in case. I haven’t had a problem with registering yet, knock on wood, and let’s hope I keep having that luck! Gannon’s registrar’s office, as well as faculty advisers, try to make registering pretty easy for the students.

I am really looking forward to next semester. We are moving into a new sorority house which is conveniently located within a block of all of the academic buildings and is now Gannon owned, so I am excited to be living there next year. We can have up to nine girls living in the house. It has three floors with a huge downstairs living room.

Because of all these things, I am really enjoying school a lot, and I am excited for my c nursing classes and the two clinical classes to get more in-depth next semester.

Thanks for reading my blog!
