The Erie Planetarium is located in the carriage house of the Watson-Curtze Mansion.
Ever wish all the clouds would go away at night and all the lights would go out so you could sit and stare at the stars? Despite the street lights, downtown Erie has a perfect place for stargazing: the Erie Planetarium.
Just across the street from Gannon’s Kenilworth Apartments, the Erie Planetarium offers many public exhibits and educational programming for a low cost. It’s located in the carriage house at the Watson-Curtze Mansion, a museum owned by the Erie County Historical Society. It’s the perfect place to escape into nature and take a journey to space.
