They are the students who compete for the Gannon University club hockey team.
The team started its season on a promising note, with two victories against Wheeling Jesuit on Sept. 29 and Oct. 5. The Knights won 13-1 and 9-7.
The Gannon club hockey program begins its season under new leadership with Rev. Jason Glover(at right in photo), an instructor in the Gannon theology department. The Knights hit the ice with 17 players in uniform.
Senior Michael Martin (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) is serving as team captain. Junior C.J. Thibault (Mars, Pa./Mars Area) and sophomore Alexander MacFarlane (Bradford, Pa./Bradford Area) also provide leadership as assistant captains.
Several members of the program recently presented Gannon President Keith Taylor, Ph.D., with a team jersey. Dr. Taylor (left in photo), Gannon’s seventh president, was honored, appropriately, with a #7 jersey.
