Check it out! Work studies at Nash Library

Need a book for research? How about a new movie to watch? Nash Library is your go-to place for all academic and entertainment needs on campus. There are plenty of people to help you find whatever you might need. I interviewed work-study student Hyojin Choi, and I asked her some questions about her daily life in the Nash Library.

What is your primary duty when working in the library?

My primary duty is working the service desk.

What is your favorite part of the day?

My favorite part of the day is when I get to check out/in the books and DVDs.

What is your least favorite part of your job?

My least favorite part of my job is counting the number of students in the library. We do a count of everyone in the library once an hour.

What other tasks do you perform?

I straighten up the library, including putting the books and movies back where they belong.

What else do you enjoy doing?

I enjoy searching for books and researching books for students who ask for my help.
