This is the canopy of the GE Building at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, home to the many television shows produced by NBC.

After I attended the New York City trip hosted by the Activities Programming Board at Gannon, I told my family that was where I wanted to go for vacation. And I got my wish! My family and I spent five days seeing the sights and even got to see two shows on Broadway: “Wicked” and “Avenue Q.”

Students who make the trip with APB spend, “one short day in the Emerald City,” (to quote “Wicked”) and also get to see a Broadway show; last year, the show was “Catch Me If You Can.” The trip is just one of many sponsored by APB throughout the year.
