Today we started out the day with dish duty at breakfast. After breakfast we went on a half-day tour of the mission where we saw the school, the charity program, the coffee program, the construction program, the hospital and the women’s center. We learned about all the different work they do for the local community.

We then all gathered for lunch. After lunch we got to participate in a cooking class where we got to make cheese tacos from corn tortilla dough. It was amazing to connect with the women at the center, despite a language difference. Overall, it was an amazing day in San Lucas.
