Navajo Nation – Day 3

Navajo Nation – Day 3

By Samantha Evans

Hi, my name is Samantha, and I’m a junior nursing student.

This is my first ABST trip, and it truly is amazing! Today we got up early and drove from Phoenix to Tuba City, where we then met our guides, explored the Navajo Museum and saw the “Navajo Code Talkers” documentary.

It was amazing to watch the scenery change on the drive up here from Phoenix, I was just in awe the whole time.

After the Navajo Code Talkers Museum, we went to a place called “Castle Rock,” which was absolutely amazing!

We all climbed up to the top of this rock and got an amazing 360° view of the land around us. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen! I will truly never forget the memories we have made today-it was amazing!
