Pleased to meet you, allow me to introduce myself. My name’s Nicole Dohoda, and some of you may remember me from Gannon’s student spotlight blogs last year. If not, you picked a great time to start searching for us online. This year, I am one of the  very excited Assistant Editors for Gannon University’s newest publication, the online magazine, Edge.

I’m a junior at Gannon, majoring in theatre & communication arts with a minor in journalism. I’ve performed in several main stage shows here on campus, including one of my favorite – and most recent – “Noises Off.” I’m also an on-air DJ and new media director at Erie’s Rock Alternative station 90.5 WERG (which you can listen to online at http://www.wergfm.com/). Don’t worry though, I’m taking time away from the theatre and radio station (shh, don’t tell them) for a short while to pursue the pressing matters at hand:

First, the mid-college crisis of starting my junior year. And second, putting together what is going to be on of the most exciting and innovative collaborative projects of my college career: this magazine.

If you’ve gotten this far into the website so as to read my blog, you’ve probably noticed some other cool things along the way. Our content will be constantly updated for your entertainment and informative pleasure.

You may have some questions about us, our school or our goals here at Edge. And if you do you can absolutely feel free to ask away – you can find me at dohoda001@gannon.edu.

I hope you’ve already begun to enjoy our newest artistic endeavor, and would love to see you back here soon.

‘Til next time –

Nicole
