I’ve only been back on campus for two weeks and I’m already as busy as I could possibly be. I’m taking a pretty full class schedule this semester, plus my responsibilities to Alpha Psi Omega and Gamma Sigma Sigma, plus being involved in the first Schuster Theatre production of the season, “Lives of the Saints.” With all that on my plate, my free time is extremely limited, but it’s definitely a welcome change from the boredom of the last weeks of summer.

Getting used to this schedule is an ongoing process. I did about the same amount of activities before I left for Paris, but my only real extracurricular in Paris was sightseeing. I love being involved on campus, but it’s definitely been a bit of a shock.

Classwise, this semester I’m taking a few business classes and finishing up my core requirements. I think all of my classes will be pretty interesting, but it’ll probably take a little time for us to get to the heart of the material. I’m a little anxious and excited about the business classes. It’s the first year where the majority of my classes are actually related to my major, instead of taking a lot of core courses.  Everything’s going really well so far, and I’m looking forward to the rest of the semester.

Other than classes, I’m filling my time with rehearsals, volunteering and lots of work in the Edge office. I’m really excited to be back, doing everything that I did last fall with all the friends I missed while I was away. It’s been an awesome reunion. I’m looking forward to accomplishing a lot and having a lot of fun.

I hope your school year is off to a great start too!

Talk to you soon,

Sarah
