Erie_BayHawks_logo.svgErie’s abundance of minor league sports offers entertainment for all kinds of sports fans. Hockey fans have the Erie Otters, baseball fans have the Erie Seawolves and basketball fans have the Bayhawks. The Erie Bayhawks are the local NBA Development League team based in downtown Erie. The team is known for once having Jeremy Lin on its team, and rosters an exciting group of professional players clad in black, gold and red. LECOM is officially partnered with the Erie BayHawks, so supporting the team also supports the connection between the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Gannon University.

The Bayhawks season runs from November through April, and games take place at Erie Insurance Arena. Tickets are affordable, and the size of the arena means you’ll get a great view of the game regardless of where you sit. For more information on the team, visit http://www.nba.com/dleague/erie/.
