In the age of Facebook, Twitter and going green, students and staff alike prefer doing their work online; Gannon clubs and organizations are no exception. Students now have a way to manage their co-curriculars online – EngageU.

On EngageU students can find clubs to join and request membership. Leaders of a club can track who their members are through the system, as well as send e-mails and reminders to members of meetings, activities, or any other organization related updates.

As part of an initiative to go green, EngageU allows leaders to post their events on a campus-wide virtual cork board by taking advertising from the walls of Waldron Campus Center to the computer screens of students. In addition, all paperwork that was once managed through the SOLD office, including meeting and event request forms, can now be done online through a couple taps of a keyboard.

EngageU makes managing a co-curricular transcript a breeze! Club memberships are annually recorded in the system, along with students’ participation in volunteer activities, such as GIVE Day.

The system is in its beginning stages; therefore, not all clubs are available yet. Nevertheless, EngageU is well on its way to becoming as familiar a tool on Gannon’s campus as Angel and GUExpress.
