Saturday, February 24th

Greetings from Hamilton! We had a sunny departure from Gannon around 11am and a 3 hour car ride filled with lots of laughs, bonding, and positivity. We stopped for a quick lunch at Pita Pit in Niagara.

We made it to Sherman House (home base for the week) around 2:30pm, followed by a brief weekly orientation with a L’Arche partner and spent most of the afternoon relaxing, settling into our living space, and getting to know the house’s core members and assistants! We shared a lovely pizza dinner at Sherman House and afterwards we went shopping for groceries at Walmart and No Frills! We ended our night off with a beautiful reflection and conversation.
