Meet the faces of the Student Success Center who will help you with your transition to college and success throughout your Gannon journey. Learn about services offered such as academic advising, tutoring, career development, student support services and internships.

11 a.m. – Noon | Meet with your Adviser | Various academic buildings on campus
Upperclass students will guide you to meet your academic adviser immediately following the Student Success presentation. Bring your sweet tooth and questions on scheduling, classes and more to this informal meet-and-greet with your adviser. We’ll provide the cookies, information, and the opportunity to meet other students in your major. Required for all Students

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. | Find Your Classes | Depart from in front of the Student Success Center (Palumbo 1025)
Tours will depart from the Student Success Center. Meet up with upperclassmen at the designated meeting spots for each academic building to find your classrooms for the fall semester. Make sure to bring your class schedule. You can also use this time to purchase your books at the Gannon University bookstore.

1 – 2 p.m.  | Honors Meeting | Waldron Campus Center 219
Come meet your fellow honors students. This event will be an interactive, team-building experience. Required for all Honors Student

1 – 4 p.m. | You’ve Got Mail! | Gannon Mailroom
Resident students, stop by the Gannon Mailroom and pick up the key to your campus mailbox. You must pick up your key if you wish to receive mail or packages at GU. 

1 – 3 p.m. | Armor Up – It’s Knight Time | Beyer Hall Second Floor
Sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA) and Activities Programming Board (APB)
Pick up your FREE GU Swag Bag (water bottle, baseball cap, and more) and find out what it means to be a Gannon Knight. Come for a casual meet-up with new and upper class students, and leave your mark on the art wall for campus new collaborative student space.

Whether you sing, play or just enjoy music, come join us for a live jam session.  No talent required.

Take a risk and enjoy some friendly competition while playing a variety of board games.
• Garden Party | departs from Friendship Green
Come enjoy the Gannon Goodwill Garden with other environmentally-minded students. Enjoy free snacks, a chance to be outside and an awesome garden.
• Books & Blankets | Friendship Green
Now it’s time to relax with a good book and some new friends. Grab your favorite book and blanket and join us on Friendship Green to bask and relax in the sun. No textbooks required.

Enjoy ice-cream, live music and the company of hundreds of Gannon students. This wellloved Gannon tradition is a great opportunity to meet your upperclassmen peers. The Ice Cream Social will feature Gannon’s Got Talent, where some of your soon-to-be favorite faculty and staff showcase their musical talents. Rain Location: First Floor Waldron Campus Center
