“Celebrate Gannon is an annual showcase of the academic accomplishments of Gannon University’s undergraduate and graduate students,” said Jessica Hartnett, Ph.D., Celebrate Gannon Chair and associate professor of psychology. “It is a wonderful opportunity to share intellectual passion with the Gannon community and to learn how to communicate the excitement you feel about the work you do as a Gannon University student.”

“Each project is developed with the assistance of a faculty or staff advisor,” said Hartnett. “Submissions are accepted for four categories of accomplishments: engagement, fine arts, research and scholarship. Students may submit either a poster or platform presentation to share their work.”

Engagement includes experiential projects that demonstrate learning outside the classroom, including service, volunteerism and mission programs. Fine arts and communication arts submissions include graphic design, photography and poetry. Research and scholarship submissions celebrate student accomplishments in engaged academic subject matter.

“This event is the culmination of a year’s worth of scholarship and research and an occasion for the University to celebrate students’ hard work, excellence and accomplishments.”
