Every year, Gannon University students get the chance to celebrate the beginning of the spring season for a week in whichever way they choose. Some take road trips, some travel home to see family and still others choose to make a difference in the global community by taking part in Gannon’s Alternative Break Service Trips, coordinated by the Center for Social Concerns.
This year, students traveled to Guatemala, New York City, New Orleans and Florida and gained both personal experience as well as provided immeasurable service to everyone they touched.
Student leaders sophomore communication arts major Beth Gaertner (New York City) and junior pre-med/biology major Anthony Firetto (Florida) gave us the exclusive chance to follow their trip through photos of their experience, and we invite you to share it with us!
