The Gannon community celebrates the life and achievements of Martin Luther King, Jr. today. In honor of Dr. King, we’d like to share this video with you.

“Hope for Times Like These” was produced by Graduate student Martha Rogus for Dr. Bomberger’s Minority Literature class in the Fall of 2010. The assignment was to interview a prominent African American in the Erie community, but Martha chose to conduct an individual interview with a woman who personally knew Martin Luther King, Jr. Please enjoy Joan Brown Campbell telling the story of Dr. King’s visit to her Cleveland church in the 1960s.
