It may surprise some readers to find out that Edge has been around since late 2009. It may also surprise readers that 2009 was a little over 6 years ago. 6 years. It doesn’t seem like it’s been that long. 2009 was the year “Boom Boom Pow” by the Black Eyed Peas was the #1 song and Slumdog Millionaire won best Picture at the Oscars. Plenty has changed since then, especially here at Edge (and Gannon University), so I went back through the archives to find out what Edge staffers were writing about in the site’s inaugural year.
