Being from Erie, I know a little bit about the places I can visit and the events I can attend when I need something to do. If you aren’t from here, you may be a little unsure of what things are going on this time of year. I have curated a list of three events to go to in Erie that are happening or will be happening soon.

  • Peek’n Peak Fall Fest

I know that Peek’n Peak is a little bit of a drive from here, but if you have a commuter friend who is willing to go with you, you should definitely check it out! Peek’n Peak Fall Fest is an annual event that helps you kick off the new season with a petting zoo, a pumpkin cannon, a classic car show, and many more fun activities. Aside from the activities, there is good food there as well. They always have treats like kettle corn or roasted and candied nuts. If you are looking for a fun weekend of fall events and are willing to make the drive, the Fall Fest is for you! This event is two weekends long and starts on October 12. The dates are October 12, 13, 19 and 20. Go to https://www.pknpk.com/fall-fest/ for more information.

  • The Erie Philharmonic

Maybe you’re looking for a night of music. The Erie Philharmonic will be performing the “Shostakovich 5” concert on October 5th at 8pm at the Warner. You can either get you tickets in advance, get ticket vouchers on campus, or pay at the door. Go to http://eriephil.org/calendar/2019/9/21/shost for more information.

  • Jeff Dunham at the Warner

Are you looking for a way to destress and get out of your dorm for a little bit? Comedian Jeff Dunham will be coming to Erie on Sunday, October 27 to perform at the Warner theater. The time has yet to be determined. Tickets can be purchased online; however they are a bit pricey depending on which seats you get. If you’re in need of a laugh, you should check it out! For more information go to https://www.erieevents.com/events/event/10/27/2019/jeff-dunham.

There are many, many more events happening during the fall and winter in Erie but I have a few listed here. If you’re ever looking for something to do, there is always a lot going on!
