Is this your favorite spot on campus? Take a picture and you could win!
Pictures can hold a thousand words. Here’s your chance to share a novel-full without typing a single word. Gannon University is holding a photo contest with the theme “My Favorite Spot Around Campus” and we want your snapshots!
Are you a photographer? Let’s face it – with digital cameras and camera phones everywhere, who isn’t a photographer? Gannon’s photo contest is the perfect way to share your photos, spread your Gannon spirit and maybe win a great prize, too.
We’re looking for your photos of your favorite spot on or around Gannon’s campus. Be creative, be artistic, show your school spirit and give us your best shots.
Post your photos to our Facebook wall at www.gannon.edu/facebook by Thursday, April 15, 2010. You can post as many photos as you’d like! We’ll choose the top ten photos and then it’s up to you – and your friends – to pick a winner!
Check back on April 16 to see the top ten, and click ‘like’ under your favorite. The three photos with the most ‘likes’ between Friday, April 16 and 4 p.m. on Friday, April 23 will win a $50 Visa gift card!
To post a photo, go to our Facebook page and click the Photos icon by the publisher box (where you would go to write on our wall). Upload your photo and you’re entered to win! You do need to become a fan of Gannon’s page to post photos and win.
And now for some official rules: any photos with questionable or inappropriate content will be ineligible and will be removed from Facebook at the discretion of Gannon University staff.
And remember, by uploading a photo, you give Gannon University the right to use and reuse any uploaded photographs for purposes of marketing, advertising and recruiting and any other promotional use which benefits Gannon University.
