“I’ve been on WERG since my freshman year. I got involved by taking MC’s speech class. She required that we had an airshift. I found that it was easier for me to express myself behind a microphone. It’s a voice that way, not a face. I feel more comfortable to have a relationship between the audience and myself. Radio has helped me open up, even my family says so when they listen. It’s been an interesting journey.”
