For fun, food, music or the bare necessities, GU students know where to go to get what they need. Check out the rundown as we ask:
Where is your favorite place to go in Erie?
Joe Witkowski, sophomore sport and exercise science major:
“Forward Hall is my favorite place to go in Erie, because they bring a lot of good bands, both local and otherwise. They bring in a lot of good rock music in general.” |
Robert Zdravecky, junior environmental science major:
“Two Friends, because the food is great. The Friday lunch buffet is probably the most cost-effective thing ever, and the staff is hilarious.” |
Jenai Charlton, freshman social work major:
“The mall, because the ride on the EMTA bus is free and there are a lot of good shops to visit.” |
Olivia Pajer, freshman undecided major:
“Dollar General, because everything is inexpensive, and it’s a nice walk on a nice day.” |
Dana Hawthorne, freshman occupational therapy major:
“Pufferbelly’s, because they have really good food and a nice atmosphere.” |
Allison Adkins, sophomore nursing major:
“Cold Stone is my favorite place to go in Erie. I like going there late at night, because it’s open 24 hours.” |
