Holy October, Batman! September’s over and lots of stuff has already happened on campus this year. Since most of you weren’t here to experience that stuff… here’s a list of links to give you some insight on what’s been going on around Gannon.
– Tibetan monks came to Gannon’s campus and made a sand mandala. After they finished the artwork, they ritualistically poured it into Lake Erie. Check out some of the photos from Gannon’s Facebook page, or check out YourErie.com’s video here.
– The college admissions process is also well under way. Wondering when Gannon might be visiting your high school? Want to know when Gannon is hosting an open house? Check out the GU Admissions events page to plan your next visit to Erie.
– As recently mentioned in The Erieite, a Gannon fraternity recently rolled a ball around campus to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network. Check out some video footage and an article on the event from the Erie Times News.
– Gannon’s campus will be even safer after receiving almost 300,000 dollars from the U.S. Department of Justice. The money will be used to develop anti-sexual assault programming on campus for the next three years. You can check out coverage from the Erie Times News to learn more.
