Happy summer vacation everyone! I have been having such a great summer so far. I went to my third and last prom with my girlfriend who just graduated high school. I was really excited to see her and my family after ending the semester for the summer. I was especially excited not to have to any work that related to school.

I got to start my new job that is really amazing. I writing software, and I couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity. What’s better is that this job will help me be even more prepared for the fall semester. Summer has been a long time coming and so far it’s been everything I’ve wanted it to be.

I wanted to wish everyone a wonderful summer. I hope that you all are having a good time, especially the incoming freshmen that will soon be joining us. Summer is about relaxing and catching up on sleep that we all missed during the year. I really love the summer, especially where I live, but I am also excited to go back. I never thought I would be saying that, but the more I think about it, I really am excited. I will have an apartment with some great people and I will be a sophomore with some experience under my belt.

If you’re an incoming freshman, don’t worry! Your time is approaching — you will soon become a college freshman. Enjoy your summer, and hang out with your friends. The time to worry about what posters you want to hang in your new room is not here just yet. If you have read any of my earlier blogs, you probably know that I was more or less a frantic mess when coming into my first year. Don’t worry about going to college or having to live with someone. It all works nicely out in the end and you make some great friends.
