If you sit in the library the Sunday right before finals week, you can hear a symphony of sounds: pencils scratching, pages turning, keys clicking and stomachs rumbling.

Wait, stomachs rumbling? How are students supposed to study when all they can think about is food?

Have no fear, Gannon students! The administration has risen to meet your needs.

The MidKnight Pancake Breakfast is a biannual event, occurring the Sunday before finals week of each semester. Students pack into the Beyer Hall cafeteria to be served pancakes, sausage and eggs by the faculty and staff, including Gannon’s president, Dr. Keith Taylor himself. And the best part of the event is that it’s all free.

After all, if breakfast is the most important meal of the day, then why not serve it the most important night of the year?
