With spring break coming up in about a week, many students have begun making plans for a relaxing week away from classes and homework. The brothers of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity shared their plans with us.

Shawn Hogue, sophomore biology/pre-med major

“I am planning on spending my spring break with my family. I always enjoy spending time with them and break is a nice time for me to not have to worry about school work and spend some quality time with my family.”

Aaron Davis, junior finance major:

“I am going to work at home for my family business drilling water wells. I am going to volunteer for the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission. I will also spend some much needed time with family and friends.”

Patrick Chounet, junior mathematics major:

“Over break, I plan on going back to Cleveland and catching up with some old friends from home. As much as I love all my friends at Gannon, it’s always nice to go back and be with high school friends.  I also plan on having some delicious home-cooked meals.”

Christian Villalobos, freshman undecided pre-med major:

“I’m going home and spending time with my family of course. I have plans to go to Splash Lagoon with some friends. But seeing as the weather is still bad, I’ll probably finish planning my trip to New York City and buy some tickets to the Broadway show, “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.”

Nick Wieczorek, freshman information systems major:

“Well I really just plan on working for Diagnostic X-Ray Services (which is my internship). Beyond that, I plan on relaxing with my girlfriend and enjoying the thought of not having to be in classes for a week.”
